I feel like I’m only just popping my head up from quite a difficult couple of months. If you’ve followed The Darling Tree since its early days, particularly on Instagram, you’ve probably seen our sweet dog Mambo appear from time to time. In August, we celebrated his 17th birthday, not really knowing how much time we would have left with him as his physical health and mobility declined. Considering we had some concerns back in January, he kept going in his usual stubbornly optimistic way and would have stuck around for as long as cheese existed. But sadly, the time came a few weeks ago, and we had to say goodbye to our little guy. After devoting so much special care to him for the last few years and having him always by my side since before The Darling Tree began, it has certainly felt quite empty without him. In his memory, please give your own beloved pet a hug, kiss and treat for us 💜
