Hi Reader!
It's been a long while since sending out a newsletter, six months or so I think?! I hope that 2023 has been kind to you so far, it's certainly been interesting around here.
After a full few months I have just returned from a 10-day camping trip in the Central Highlands of Queensland. Even though it's winter it was delightfully warm and a nice change to be in nature every day to recharge. My favourite place to visit was the Moss Garden in Carnarvon Gorge, it felt absolutely magical.
I've had a few projects happening in the background during that time and I wanted to share a little about. I also finally had some new photos taken (by the talented Grace of Sunbox Studios).
Thank you for being here, and I hope you enjoy today's email.
Earlier in the year I made some new updates to my website. A little refresh always feels amazing, and even though it's been a few months, I'm still so in love with this version, please go check it out! There's a new page on there where you can also find out more about working with me 💜

Also at the start of the year I had the amazing opportunity to design and install a mural here in Brisbane!
This is the largest artwork I’ve ever done, and a huge team effort to install. The top photo above is just one section. If you’re ever driving through Fortitude Valley (just north of the Story Bridge) you might see it! Definitely a highlight of the year so far.
What else is happening? I've been spending a lot of time painting our house and painting art for personal projects, as well as moving the Oracle Creator course to a whole new platform! If you've been thinking about joining, now it a wonderful time as we begin a 10-day Creative Flow challenge on the 1st July!
Invite in and flow with the Cancer energy with spiritual affirmations, an oracle card reading, and crystal healing — plus download your free art print.
Welcome to the season of Cancer! To clarify, we all feel the energy of Cancer working in our lives during this period, no matter what month we were born in.

This guide is to help you and the other signs stay centered and connected with your emotions by bringing your awareness to what may come up for you. You can also use this guide to understand and support the Cancerian friend in your life.
This month is ruled by the Moon and the water element, so it will be important to be patient with our emotions and nurturing our sensitivities...

Hi Reader, I feel like I’m only just popping my head up from quite a difficult couple of months. If you’ve followed The Darling Tree since its early days, particularly on Instagram, you’ve probably seen our sweet dog Mambo appear from time to time. In August, we celebrated his 17th birthday, not really knowing how much time we would have left with him as his physical health and mobility declined. Considering we had some concerns back in January, he kept going in his usual stubbornly...
Hi Reader, In my last email, I mentioned the extra study thrown into the mix of my creative life, and consequently, I've had to try and improve my time management and planning. So I thought I'd share what I've been doing lately which you can read below. Thank you for being here. I hope you enjoy today's email 😊 Reclaiming time and attention 🌼 There is, of course, much discussion online about our attention and how certain companies aim to get and keep it. Taking back (some) control of our...
Hi Reader, Happy solstice! Whether it's the longest Summer or shortest Winter day of the year for you, I hope this current season is supporting you and offering what your mind and body needs. Where I live we usually have very mild winters, and this year if feels like a huge relief from the extreme humidity we had earlier this year and I'm enjoying breathing in the crisp air! Something I haven’t shared much about here, or online in general, is for the last couple of years I’ve gradually been...
